After two failed (and miserable) attempts to have my Seiko divers watch crown and stem repaired, I discovered Stewart Time. At that point, I wasn't expecting much but I was so wrong. My experience having my wife's 8 year old Citizen Eco-Drive watch repaired by Stewart Time was very satisfying. Their service was outstanding. At first I was hesitant to send the watch to Richmond, UT because I had no experience with this very distant company. Kudos to the wonderful customer care staff and the technicians at StewartTime. Like many others before me, I am a Seiko perpetual calendar watch owner who was totally ignorant of these watches at first purchase and who got badly burned by at least two dealers who also were totally ignorant of the battery replacement process but who tried to replace them anyway without success. One dealer sent two of my watches off to get the batteries replaced; they were lost and forgotten, and I was fortunate to get them back after a harrowing back and forth haggle. Thank goodness I found the great StewartTime site this time; they quickly replaced my watch battery and reset the calendar with great success even though the calendar was somewhat damaged from previous bungling. I am so pleased with my watch repair from StewartTime and will recommend them to others without reservation. I also am very appreciative of the enclosure they sent with my watch return instructing me on how to care for the Seiko perpetual calendar watches; I have another watch that will soon need its battery replaced, and I will definitely be sending it to StewartTime.

Great customer service. Getting them to send the prepaid box to ship back and forth is great. Turnaround time was way faster than almost all the other places I checked. Most wanted 3-5 weeks which seemed crazy. These guys did it in 3 days. Website status updates is great way to track too.
Watch works like new. Only negative was they overbuffed the watch case leaving buff marks. When this was brought to their attention, I received a partial refund.

I have a SEIKO KINETIC watch which I purchased in 1995 that stopped and I could not find anyone locally in watch repair would attempt to repair due to the kinetic mechanism. I went to the internet and found STEWARTTIME which repaired my watch and at a nominal cost, replaced the luminous hands on my watch at a very low cost and all of this accomplished to include no cost shipping, shipping container and outstanding followup with customer on the progress of repair.
When the watch was shipped back, I was astonished that they returned the parts replaced like the old auto repair facilities did years ago. I am a 75 years of age veteran and it did my heart good to see a company provide what can be
only described as outstanding customer service to its customers and repair in minimal time.
Finally, the service is the best I have seen or heard of out there for this type repair. These people should be an example and book mark for how to run a business for other business. Everything is organized and pointed toward the customer. None better.

Title: Fairly priced and quick!
My Citizen SkyHawk was scratched all over the place. On top of that, the titanium band lost a pin. I had it for quite a few years so I wanted to repair it. A few local watch repair shops couldn't repair the band, nor change the crystal without charging almost 30% of the cost of a new watch for a new band.
Short story: I found Stewarttime on the net, the customer service estimated the cost for the repair and sent me the mail box. The service was very fairly priced, quick and I could check the repair progress on their site. A week later, I am a happy customer.

Title: Great Service Saved My Watch
I had an old Seiko kinetic which I really loved. After 15 years, it looked pretty beat up, but it still worked OK, though the charge did not last long. Finally, it ended up in the washing machine and looked beyond repair. Stewart Time managed to make it look practically new, and it works better than ever. Expensive? Sure, about the same as a new watch, but I didn't see any I liked as much as this design, so it was worth it. Customer service is excellent. They always keep you apprised of your status, and are very clear on charges. Also, they are very prompt and professional.

Title: WOW UNBELIEVABLE SERVICE!
When my Eco Drive Citizen watch stopped working I did not know where to turn. I had no more factory warranty and no idea how much it would cost to fix this type of watch or even what was wrong. I went to my local watch repair place; when I asked them if they service Eco Drive watches their reply was bring it in and we will see. That did not sound convincing so now I was stuck, so I began searching the web and I came across Stewart Time. At first I was hesitant to send out a gold watch with diamonds out for repair to somewhere in UTAH?!?!? After reading the reviews it made me feel more comfortable and I began to think this is a legitimate company. So I paid with a credit card on Saturday,on Monday the box was at my door step. I mailed it out the next day on Tuesday. They sent me info on every step they did to my watch. On Thursday I got my watch BACK in perfect working condition with everything set from calendar to my standard time in New York. In a word...WOW!!! My Eco-Drive Skyhawk was damaged in a motorcycle accident and I was just sick that I might have to replace it. I found Stewart Time and figured I'd give them a shot. For many years I have owned a Citizen Eco-Drive World Time watch, a marvelous instrument providing the hour in two time zones, exactly what I need for my frequent world travels. Several years ago I sent the watch back to Citizen in Torrance, California for a new crystal and general service. It came back to me with a broken link in the wrist band and function buttons that worked badly, then froze up.
When I tried to get the watch repaired in Europe, sending it to Citizen in the United Kingdom, I received it back untouched with a note that it was obsolete and that they would not repair it. Unwilling to submit it to the unsatisfactory California Citizen facility again, I searched the web for a solution. Stewart Time in Utah responded to my query quickly and courteously, and they not only carried out the repairs they advertise, but were able to provide a completely new titanium case so all control buttons function perfectly. My watch was returned on time in as-new condition, even accurately set to the current time.
Stewart Time was courteous, professional and effective. If anyone has tried to get any mechanical or electronic device repaired in the past decade or so, they will know how rare that is. That the costs involved were perfectly reasonable and the results perfectly satisfactory is, in today’s world, the next thing to a miracle.

My first experience with Stewart Time involved a Seiko perpetual calander watch. I first took it to a watch repair jeweler who told me that he must order this special battery. Once the battery was in I picked up my watch and the calander did not work. The jeweler told me that there was issues with my watch. So I went online to find a source to repair my watch. I found this "little gem" of a company a few months ago after being fed up with the incompetency of my local jewelers who advertised watch repair. I am a watch collector that knows enough to know when I'm being lied to and in general not well served.
They are capable of doing a lot more than their web site indicates. I know that from my experience of calling them and sending them some very expensive time pieces. In almost every case they did the work with a quality and performance I never expected from any company.

I needed a new crystal and the band repaired on my Citizen Skyhawk. The price I was quoted from Citizen was close to what I paid for the watch. I found Stewart Time while searching the internet and decided to give them a chance. They replaced the crystal and repaired the band for a fraction of what Citizen wanted to charge me. And to my surprize they buffed all the scratches out of the stainless steel band and repaired the chrono dial for no extra charge. Stewart Time really knows what they're doing when it comes to Citizen watches. My Eco-Drive SkyHawk wasn't taking a charge and no where else was able to fix it. In fact most people turned me away when I showed them the watch. So, I sent it to Stewart Time.
A whole 10 months later, the watch wasn't taking a charge again, and they willing shipped me a box and tested/charged the watch for me for FREE! Turns out there is a hard reset feature I wasn't aware of...

So I googled kinetic watches and found the Stewart Time website. They described the exact problem the watch had and gave an exact price for repairs. I ordered the very reasonable service I needed (well under $100) and within days received the box, pre-paid shipping sticker and packing materials I needed to send it off. Right before I dropped it in the mailbox, I checked Stewart Time LLC on the BBB website and got an excellent and reassuring report. In 2 days I received an email that they had received the watch and several days later they emailed that it was repaired and on it's way back home. It's back and working great. What could have been a very costly and time-consuming project for me was so easy, safe and fast with Stewart.

When I bought my first Citizen Eco-drive back in 2000, I was intrigued by the fact that it was marketed as “never having to change a battery.” (or something similar). When I checked my watch one day in 2009, I was disappointed to find out it was dead! Furthermore, when I took it to my local jeweler he told me he couldn’t fix it and it was probably the battery; I would need to send it back to the Citizen factory in Japan! I thought forget about that, and I threw my watch in the bottom of my dresser drawer. About fifteen years ago my wife bought me a Seiko Kinetic watch. After a relative short time the watch failed to run and I was told I needed a new battery. I had it replaced and it was an expensive repair. A couple of years after that I had the same experience and was aggravated to spend even more money on the repair. Sure enough, a couple years later the watch quit running again. Not wishing to spend even more money, I put the watch away and there it remained for several years. Recently, I became aware of Stewart Time and was informed that the new "batteries" were a lithium ion variety that promised long life. I decided to try their reasonably priced repair service. I sent my watch away in the box provided and was impressed with the crisp, timely, communication from Stewart.
Unfortunately, their diagnosis was that my repair job required a new movement, not just a battery. A nagging little thought goes through your mind wondering whether you can trust someone from hundreds of miles away who tells you what repairs are needed for your watch but I decided to accept their word and ordered them to complete the repair.
I got my watch back today and was very pleasantly surprised by the appearance! The watch has been cleaned and polished so it looks like it did when it was new. And accompanying my watch was the old movement that Stewart replaced, proof that it had been a necessary repair. In fact, the cost of my repair was only $20 more than what I had spent the last time I had just the power cell replaced.

On July 31 I found the website for Stewart Time and was impressed with all the positive testimonials. I had sent the watch back to Citizen three times in eight years and it never worked very long before it would stop. I took the top repair for the watch and they sent me a box within two days and it was sent back on 8/09/11. When they checked it in the shop, all that was wrong was it needed a new capacitor. They installed one, zeroed out the hands, set the time and let it charge overnight. The next day the watch passed all the tests and it was sent back on the 11th and I recieved it back on the 15th. In all my years of using the Internet and dealing with various vendors, I have never encountered a more professional and informative business. A year after I purchased my watch, the capacitor failed to charge and I had to send it back to Seiko for repair (under warranty). It took three weeks to get the watch back and the only correspondence I received was a note in the box that said that I probably wasn't active enough to keep the capacitor charged. My Citizens Eco-Drive watch was a gift from a dear friend, so when it stopped working and local Jewelry Stores could not help me, I turned to the Internet.
I was impressed by the professional manner that StewartTime demonstrated by first of all sending me a box for my watch. The box contained a few instructions, a bubblewrap envelope for the watch, and a prepaid self addressed label which I placed on the outside of the box before mailing.
My repaired watch was returned to me in a very short while along with some useful tips for taking care of my valuable timepiece. My experience left me very satisfied with the service and the cost involved.

Wonderful job bringing my beloved Citizen Eco-Drive back to life - I'd despaired ever getting it done before giving Stewart Time a try, and it wound up being just over a week from the time I placed the order to the day I got it back, including shipping and for less than $100!
The watch was fully charged, set accurately to my time zone, and all in order. A couple of the replacement pins (I didn't expect they'd do that, but it was part of the service) weren't aligned right, but I rectified that in moments and it's to be kind of expected - my model has a band that's really tough to figure out. Kudos for trying.
All in all, I'm really happy. I have my watch back, it's got new pins that I didn't even realize it needed, and I should be good for another 15 years!

Stewart was OUTSTANDING! I have a personal keepsake Citizen Eco Drive Stiletto. It just stopped keeping time. I took it to the jeweler who my wife originally bought it from and they said $125 to repair it.
I found Stewart online and reviewed their services, I read some testimonials, paid my money for a Basic Repair to replace the capacitor.
