Synthetic Sapphire Crystal Replacement:

Service includes installation of a synthetic sapphire crystal, cleaning and sealing of case, and ultrasonic cleaning of watch band. Service includes shipping both ways (we send a post-paid box upon order).

This service covers replacing an original genuine Citizen or Seiko sapphire crystal or retrofitting a Seiko watch that had a mineral glass crystal with a generic synthetic sapphire crystal for greater scratch resistance.

Citizen mineral glass crystals are made to such individual specifications that it is very difficult to find a generic sapphire to fit well enough to ensure water resistance. For this reason, we do not recommend retrofitting watches with original Citizen mineral glass crystals with synthetic sapphire crystals. For more information please read our FAQ.

*If the crystal to be replaced is shattered, there may be additional charges to remove broken glass from the watch movement or repair damage to the dial or hands. Client will be contacted with an estimate for any additional repair needed.
